Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt (FUD) in Online Transaction Authentication...

According to a survey by CardinalCommerce, 82% of e-commerce merchants do not have any customer authentication method on their websites. They fear that that introducing the additional security measures may scare away their customers.

Implementing 3-D Secure

Implementation of 3-D secure has baffled the software development community for years. And that has led to less than desired adoption of the technology by the Gateways, ISOs and merchants.

3-D secure is a complex protocol and understanding it is not easy. The article here attempts to explain the basics of the 3-D secure in simplified manner.
